Discription

  • A first-person shooting game.  
  • You got a gun can switch between two fire modes: Damage Mode and Absorb Mode. 
  • The enemies have 3 kinds of elements: water, fire and grass. 
  •  The Absorb Mode will shoot a bullet to absorb the enemy's element (but won’t deal damage). The three elements, one can restrain another (deal greater damage).

Instructions

  • Keyboard WASD to move. 
  • Mouse to aim. Left mouse button to shoot, right to swicth fire mode.
  • Hold Tab to check your status

  • New sky for each scene
  • Reduced enemy attack and attack frequency
  • Enemy amount grows with levels

  • Snowy scene: remove redundant objects, adjust navmesh, sound effect.
  • Adjust sounds and bgms
  • Bug fixed: shooting effects blocked by incorrect layers
  • Weapon will not go through the walls
  • A panel for checking current status -- hold "Tab"
  • New colors for grass and water enemy.

  • Moutain Scene: Remove redundant objects. Adjust Navmesh for enemy AI. Water sound effect.

  • Adjust scene: remove some obstacles, remake NavMesh, etc.
  • Add special effects for enemy bullets
  • Add critical damage system and related upgrade system

2022/10/28

  • A new map - Montain-forest Scene
  • Add element capsule. Player can aborb element from it. Switch its own element through time automatically.
  • Add a start scene
  • Add score system and best score
  • Difficulty grows up with levels.
  • Show enemy health at enemy health bar.

  • New bullet effcets and hit effects
  • Player can choose one upgrade from 3 after finishing one level

  • Bullet hit effects
  • Level control: An object in the scene with a “shoot to start” sign. An object with “ shoot to next level” will show up after killing all monsters. Data will be inherited to the next level.

2022/10/07  

  • Particle system for special effects (not yet fully implemented).
  • Optimization:  When absorbing element successfully, fire mode will switch to “attack” automatically.
  • Fixed an enemy-healthbar UI bug
  • Adjust element calculator value: when your bullet element is restrained, you will now only deal 10% of damage

2022/09/30  What we've done in this prototype:

  • Player: Inputs, movement, shooting with elements, switching firemode.
  • Enemy: AI: roaming, chasing, attacking, health bar, radomly assigned with an element
  • UI: Player health bar
  • Game control: Generating monsters.
